About the Author
From Hamilton in Lanarkshire, Clare has a History degree from Strathclyde University and now lives in London with her husband. Having spent some time trying to find some magic in various fields, she is now concentrating on her career as a writer.
Clare was drawn to writing by
her life long passion for reading and inventing stories. As a child,
Clare loved nothing more than curling up on a window seat in her local
library and being carried away by a magical story. A fantasy fiction
fanatic, she has completed her first book 'The Long Staff', and is
currently working on the second instalment of 'The Staff Wielder
Series', called 'The Ancient Exile'.
